Top Rated Companies

Home Page

We are a non profit Paralegal/ Court document preparation service reviewer. We understand the apprehension that a person can go through while trying to find non attorney assistance with your legal procedure. As with every profession, there a good practitioners and bad practitioners. This is why we created the web site.

We only post recommendations of companies that we have found through our own research and applied a rigorous set of requirements to promote the few that we do. This does not mean that there aren’t other reputable companies that do Paralegal work, just that we are trying to highlight one per state that we feel meet or exceed our highest standards.

We use various methods of making a determination of which companies we will include on our recommended list, which will be growing in the months to come. We look strongly at various rating organizations such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to make sure that their claims of longevity are substantiated and that they have a history of satisfied clients. We encourage any person who disagrees with these selected companies to contact us directly as to why these companies do not deserve to be highlighted by our site. We will review these submissions and determine their accuracy on their own merits.

We also hope that if you have a company that has helped you prepare your documents and has excelled your expectations for a professional and effective process, that you will contact us directly to consider that company to be included on our site.

We are starting with three companies, trying to highlight only one from different states within the U.S. this is not intended to mean that there are not good paralegal companies in the other states, just that we have not researched those states yet.

Paralegals have their beginnings in the 1960s when the ABA (American Bar Association) recognized a need to provide court access to a growing segment of the population who could not afford to hire attorneys. At that time they created Paralegals and Legal Assistants. Since that time they hae not only worked for attorneys but they have grown into an industry where they created their own companies and work not only with the public, but they do contract work with lawyers.

Lastly, we have refrained from reviewing online court document preparers because it is difficult for these online companies to provide personalized services based upon the many deviations required by the individual judges within your jurisdictions. These companies provide one on one help, as well as give you individualized instructions on where and how to complete your legal process.
